Remastered reissue of “Tarot” by Andy Bown, erstwhile The Herd member and future Status Quo collaborator, delivers a melding psychedelic and progressive style within an accessible pop structure. Serving as the theme for “Ace of Wands” UK television series in the early 70’s, it’s captivating lyrics and entrancing chorus pull the listener into a bygone musical era. Complemented by a B-side laden with mellotron drama, this reissue is a coveted treasure for aficionados of sixties psychedelic music.
