Description:

A bold cover of KRAFTWERK, an indie pop unit consisting of DEAN of GALAXIE 500 and BRITTA of LUNA! DEAN & BRITTA, formed by DEAN, a member of GALAXIE 500, which became a legend in the early days of US indie music, and BRITTA, a member and partner of LUNA, who was a member of GALAXIE 500. The new release from the duo, who still play dream pop as usual, is a cover of KRAFTWERK’s classic “NEON LIGHTS”! While the original song already had a mellow and sad atmosphere, the cover takes it even further, with a superb mellow arrangement that makes you feel like you’re walking on clouds. The structure is also GOOD, with exquisite overlapping of the chorus and spatial effects scattered throughout the song. 3 other remixes are also included in this single, which is rich in content! Two years after 2017’s “Colors,” Beck’s long-awaited new album “Hyperspace,” his fourteenth in total, is now complete! This new album, which is said to have been inspired by the “Hyperspace” mode of ATARI’s “Asteroids,” is a symbol of Beck’s music, which continues to evolve 26 years after his debut. Includes the hit “Saw Lightning” produced by Pharrell! Featuring the participation of some of the biggest artists in the world! Limited edition color LP (180g silver vinyl)Since his breakthrough single “Loser” released in 1994, Beck has garnered tremendous support for his unique genre-crossing musicality, and is a seven-time Grammy Award-winning charismatic artist of the contemporary music world. The new album, “Hyperspace,” which has been the talk of the town since its release in 2017, won two Grammy Awards at the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019 for “Best Alternative Album” and “Best Album Technology (Non-Classical Category)”. Hyperspace is the band’s 14th original album since their last album, Colors, which was released in 2017 and won both the “Best Alternative Album” and “Best Technical Album (Non-Classical)” awards at the 61st Grammy Awards in 2019. The album features Pharrell Williams co-writing & co-producing 7 songs on the album, including “Saw Lightning,” which was released in Spring 2019 as a preceding single, and the new single “Uneventful Days.” Other artists on the album include Jason Faulkner, Smokey Hormel, and Roger Manning Jr, all longtime Beck supporters. Paul Epworth co-wrote & co-produced “Star”.The album’s title track “Hyperspace” features guest vocals by Terrell Hines, while “Die Waiting” was co-written & co-produced by Cole M.G.N. and features backing vocals by Sky Ferreira. And best of all, “Stratosphere” features Coldplay’s Chris Martin, which is sure to be a big hit.
