Description:
A mellow Mahler sound. The latest Mahler concerto by Inbal and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra is “Ode to the Earth”. The latest Mahler piece by Inbal and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra is “Ode to the Earth”. This is the solo stage of Inbal, who has established himself as one of the world’s leading Mahler conductors. The richly and emotionally resonant “Ode to the Earth” is a paean to mankind, and is truly the best Mahler of our time. The music is firmly structured and expresses itself with ups and downs. The Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, with its exquisite ensemble, showed its full range of ability to bring out the beautiful world of Mahler. Iris Vermillion’s beautiful voice adds to the melody, melody, melody. Robert Gambill sings with great power and extension, and the two soloists express a vivid world. The orchestra and soloists play colorfully. And Maestro Inbal. This is the world of Mahler at its finest, performed by the finest cast imaginable today. Octavia Records
