Description:
Wunderlich’s last recorded Christmas classic album is now on LP, with such folklore pieces as “Mary Went Through the Forest of Thorns,” “A Single Rose Bloomed,” and “Silence, My Son Rests,” performed with clarity and honesty under German conductor Fritz Neumeier, with Tommaso Albinoni Georg Philipp Telemann, and the Christmas story from “The Gospel of Luke” told by stage actor Willi Kvatfleek between these songs. A heartwarming Christmas album woven together. 180g vinyl LP Universal Music/IMS
