Description:
Izumi Tateno, known as a “left-handed pianist” for her performance of the theme music for NHK’s historical drama “Taira no Kiyomori”, recorded this disc in 2014. The album features works composed after the Great East Japan Earthquake, including Takashi Yoshimatsu’s “Umi no Naru” used in “Taira no Kiyomori” and Koichiro Mitsunaga’s “Samurai,” which was applauded in Berlin. This album is more beautiful and moving than ever. (C)RS
