Description:
Peter van de Velde, organist emeritus of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Antwerp, plays the works of Belgian organists and composers, including some world premiere recordings. This album uses the 1909 Jos Stevens organ from St. Michael’s Church in Antwerp, and focuses on the “Symphony for Grand Organ” by Camille Jacqman, a pupil of Louis Vierne and his influences, by the Aeolus label.
