More Info: 2017 release. Scarlet Revolt’s Cold Town reflects a dramatic musical departure. The dark, heavy and yet melodic rock sonic prompted Bulldog 93.1 FM in Athens, GA, to say Cold Town toes “the thin line between aggressive rock and smart metal.” Hold the Note Music Magazine in Athens, OH, called it “a crotch punch for the ears, you’ll be singing along.” Cold Town features the single “Bleed” inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s poem “The Raven.” Bleed is now receiving radio airplay in the US, Australia, and the UK. According to the UK Duchess of Rock Radio, “[Bleed] Kicks rock and roll ass – thus quoth the Raven!” The Charleston Gazette’s Pop Cult Blog described Cold Town as “A bold new direction for a bold musical force with a stunning new take on Poe’s The Raven.”
